We’re slowing down with creative crafts, injecting some Christmas charm into our home and unwinding ahead of the busy festive period with our current festive soundtrack.
Setting the Scene
If hosting this season feels like a daunting prospect, let us reassure you: the beauty of a well-dressed table is that it does half the work for you.
This year, ribbons are taking centre stage at the table. Drape our Mocha and Ivory Satin Ribbon loosely over your table runner, tie them around napkins, or use them to secure cutlery bundles. For the finishing touch, tuck a sprig of greenery, like eucalyptus or thyme, into each napkin.
Settle, Norfolk
Start the festivities at Settle. Tucked away in the tranquil Norfolk countryside, Settle is comprised of three beautifully restored vintage railway carriages and a lakeside cabin, surrounded by 35 acres of private parkland. Founded and thoughtfully designed by Jo and John Morfoot, each accommodation has been restored using salvaged materials from their own reclamation yard. The result is interiors full of rustic charm with stylish cosy touches.
Original features of these vintage railway carriages have been preserved, alongside interiors full of vintage treasures, Scandinavian touches and wood-burning stoves. The lakeside cabin offers a luxurious addition to the retreat, complete with two private yoga decks, an outdoor wood fired bath, and breath taking views of the surrounding lake.
It’s the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the festive season, or a great way to see in the New Year.

If you’re hosting this Christmas, your playlist deserves as much thought as your tablescape. The right music can set the tone, elevate the mood and keep your guests lingering long past dessert.
