Spring Clean

March 16, 2024

It’s our favourite time of year again.  As the evenings start to get lighter and there are hints of warmer days to come, we’re preparing our homes for the annual Spring clean.  Tackling tasks like decluttering that forgotten cupboard, refreshing your linens and bedding, and even giving the walls a fresh coat of paint will all help towards breathing new life into your home.

Organise in Style

Baskets are a great way of hiding clutter whilst adding to the aesthetics of your space.  Whether it’s for storing shoes, toys or laundry, they offer a stylish yet practical solution to hide the clutter.  It’s also a great way of freeing up valuable cupboard space for those larger items you’d prefer to keep out of sight.

Our Sanne Woven Baskets are available in two functional sizes, providing ample storage.

Refresh Your Linens

Changing your linens and soft furnishings is a great cost effective way of refreshing your space and keeping things seasonal.  Swap heavier, cosier bedding out for lighter linens or inject Spring colours into your living room with a cushion rotation. The simple, contemporary design of our new Deco Collection is the perfect way to add subtle pattern and lighter colours to your space.

Add a New Scent

A carefully chosen scent has the power to breathe new life into your space and the hallway is often the space that sets the tone for the rest of the house.  Welcome guests with an inviting, calm fragrance like our Meraki Haze Diffuser or our Meraki Fig & Apricot Candle.  They’ll also look pretty as an additional accessory for your console table.

Outdoor Spaces

Whether it’s decluttering the shed, bringing your lawn back to life or pulling out your favourite garden furniture, now is a great time to revive your outdoor space ahead of those warmer days.  Take stock of what you’re missing and add accessories to the mix with a couple of carefully placed lanterns or some pretty festoon lights.

We recommend a seasonal pressure wash on our Bamboo furniture collection, but a hand wash with a mild detergent also does the trick.  Tidy up old pots, maybe add some new ones and even a simple sweep up makes all the difference!
